Hmm so what it is all about ...and why is it my name is like that?? i do not aspect my friend in marine tech does not know what and why ...but if our marine junior so he/she sure does not understand that .
Actually that is the code use in the field of international maritime signal flag. we can say that this code is often use when there is stress signal and communicate or introduce our boat when we have emergency case such as collision,hijacking or maneuver disorder. when those situation happen thing may been worse with bad signal and bad pronunciation words. so to prevent bad thing become worse they naming each letter with something that international stage can remember them and use it :)
During our trip with HSM vessel we have been divide into 3 group were each group should became watchman. And for each group they have to be watchman for 4 hours for example my shift is on 12-am to 4 am and for 12 pm to 4pm for almost 5 d
ays. there is only 2 place that we should get ready to be watchman either to engine room which the temperature there is high but more on engineering there or at bridge to learn on navigation.For the time being what that i can learn is all of them are magnificent.why i said that because that vessel they can operate with small amount of man power and some of them
are in different country with different language. they are using English as communication way but i done think they can send each word 100%. what i try to share with you guys is never ever afraid to speak wrongly especially in English. just do it!
